Mercy Wings Visa & Immigration Services LLC was born out of the passion and the intrigue that our founder Mrs. Shauntel Montgomery felt as she went through her own immigration journey and challenges to US citizenship.

 

Mrs. Montgomery’s immigration journey to United States citizenship, started when she came to the US back in 2016, from Guyana in South America, as an F1 student. Very excited and enthused about this new challenge, she dug her heels in, and was focused on completing her education when she met with her first major challenge. As if being from a third world country to a well-developed one and navigating her way around a large campus and parts of Florida weren’t enough of a challenge. She lost her sponsorship.

Determined to finish what she had started, Mrs. Montgomery searched deep within herself, while leaning on the generosity of friends, family and even strangers. She found the strength to make it through each month as it was the last, she’d survive in the US as a foreign student. The one thing that she always says that she knew was constant, was the grace and mercy of God. And that is what she held on to, to carry on.

 

During her final year of school, before she could embark on her OPT (Optional Practical Training), then to return to Guyana, she met and fell in love with her now amazing husband Kenneth Montgomery Sr. The two got married and that allowed her the opportunity to adjust her F1 visa status to green card. Then a few years later to Naturalization.

Mrs. Montgomery is especially passionate about working with people who are seeking to upgrade their own immigration status because this was the path that she took. And she understands it well. In addition to the challenge of having to pay expensive attorney fees to file her paperwork. That is why she decided to start her own visa and immigration services business, to work with people who are trying to escape those expensive fees while still receiving excellent service.
